Calathea Ornata is a truly impressive plant. The leaves are green with white stripes on top. The underside is a deep red color. The plant goes to sleep after sunset and the leaves fold upright. This needs high humidity. That's why we spray the leaves from time to time. This prevents the tips of the leaves from drying out. Place the plant in full or partial shade. Always keep the soil moist, without allowing water to stagnate.
